It’s a new month, and that means new projects on the horizon! I have lots going on this month, and I hope you’ll join me along the way. Special thanks to my Patrons for their support over on Patreon, whose help makes a huge difference and helps me provide consistent content.
Instagram 1K Followers Giveaway
I hit over 1,000 followers on my Instagram, so I’m doing a giveaway through May 31st. It only takes a few moments. What can you win? I outlined that in a previous post, and you’ll see it’s very easy. You have until then at 11:59pm EST on May 31st 2019 to enter, so don’t delay!
I have a bunch of mermaid and ocean themed work coming your way throughout May. If your curious, check out my previous post all about it: MerMay 2019 Preview. I also have bonuses coming to my Patrons.
Film and Trailer Reviews
I have a number of movie reviews on the burner for Dead, Buried and Back, and some exclusively for this page. Expect more reviews, including for La Llrona, Hellboy, The Intruder, and some surprise movies. I’m also doing more trailer reviews: if you have a trailer you want me to review, suggest it in the comments!
Plein Air Paint-Off
This is a special outdoor painting event sponsored by The Gallery at Hood Street in McDonough, Georgia. I’ll pack up my easel, canvas, and paints and go to my designated spot to paint two paintings. Paintings are voted on, and the winners are displayed in the gallery. It’s a great honor and this first event of its kind by the gallery, so I’m very excited! I don’t know yet what I’ll be painting, and planning ahead is forbidden, but I’ll video the process.
I participated in this event last year with Marlena Frank and Heartfelt Knots Knit, and we’re back this year for more! Our booth is across from Gritz restaurant on the McDonough Square, and event details are on my Facebook page. If you’re looking to get books signed, knit gifts, or artwork, we’re the booth for you. Look for the giant purple and black sign for Marlena Frank’s latest novel, Stolen. We look forward to seeing you!
More information on the McDonough Geranium Festival here.
Cosplay time! This is our annual event for Black Knight Productions, and you’ll find our squad roaming the halls. Ask and we’ll happily pose for some photos.
Marlena and I travel to New York to participate in BookCon 2019. She’s sharing a booth with other Parliament House Press authors, and I’m there to help. It’s our first trip to New York, and the event is on Times Square too! If you have any recommendations, comment below.
Lots of bonus coming for my patrons, including downloadable coloring book pages of my mermaid pieces and an online video course on drawing with ink an dip pen.
