I’m a teacher, and that means May is one of the busiest times of the year, mostly because of final exams and all the inevitable grading, administrative work, and inevitable depression.

I’m an artist, and this is my first year participating in festival season. I’m debuting Morbid Smile at local festivals, conventions, and running a physical booth for the first time. There’s so much to do.

I’m also a cosplayer, so this is the time when conventions are everywhere. MomoCon is just around the corner here in Atlanta, and everyone else I know in the scene has their lineup ready.

Here’s to stress and staying busy, to being productive and helping others, to being part of a community even with all the struggle it entails. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
