
It’s funny how the box office is always a major focus for judging the worth of a film, yet most of the movies and movie-length (or longer) shows we consume are on digital platforms. Netflix is the leader of course, followed closely by HBO this season as Game of Thrones winds down, and a number of tv shows and films debut there and there alone to a massive audience.
There’s been plenty of good horror from Netflix, but also some questionable choices (Birdbox, anyone?). Mercy Black is a bit of both.
