Description
The first in my Witches’ Familiars series featuring the humble toad. Women were accused of having all manner of animal familiars, but toads are some of the most innocuous. This superstition lives on in folk tales about touching a toad’s skin causing warts and in Shakespeare’s play Macbeth.
Painting measures 12″ x 12″ on wrapped canvas. Hand titled and signed on the back. Colors glow under black light for a supernatural effect.
